The Human-Voice ensemble has created a form of a performance called “Being, towards the sheer senses”. This project is meant to be practical research on the foundations of voice and prehistoric/cultural communication. The performance can be understood as a gate for sensations. This Performance ought to be an encounter between the performers and the audience. A web of communications by means of sounds that makes several simultaneous relations. It’s all about breaching the accepted cultural and social behaviors. It’s all about many different forgotten people and their forgotten ways of living. It’s about our kind, our BEING in many different sounds, and the beginning of the time. Are we familiar with them? Will we remember our roots?
This is not an interactive performance. It is a form of a aural experience in which the audience, listeners, will have their own and very unique aural journey.

The “BEING” is a 30~40 minute integrated performance based on detailed structures, in which there will be many improvisations. It is a live performance, a live confrontation between a group of people, and an improvised section will be affected by it. “BEING” will be permanently changed and kept alive in the presence of different cities, audiences, venues, times, etc. In this unique performance, we use many complicated human voice techniques, prehistoric tools and musical instruments, traditional percussion, and ancient ritual hymns with their dance and movements; Everything melts into an initiation ceremony.
